Starter Caravans

We asked Andrew Jenkinson to go out to dealers and do some reviews of starter caravans. What he was looking for was the sort of good quality UK manufactured caravan that is popular with first time buyers.

In the first instance we asked him to look at two berth caravans under £7000 and Family caravans in a similar price bracket. The sort of caravans that many people would consider as their first van.

Comprehensive Caravan Insurance on these caravans should be between £80 and £250. Security: If the caravan does not come with a wheel clamp or hitch lock you should budget around £100 for a good one of these as this is the minimum security required by most caravan insurers.
